Universal Pre-K
EduKids is proud to be an educational partner with public school districts offering universal prekindergarten (UPK) programs.
UPK is a “difference” in scheduled class sessions and tuition support; inquire at the EduKids center you are interested in for more details. Curriculum, activities and preschool environment considerations are the same as the EduKids Kindergarten Readiness Preschool Program (Orange Bears).
UPK is offered at the following EduKids Centers:
Orchard Park, Hamburg, West Seneca, French Road, Clarence, Hertel Avenue, Crosspoint, Williamsville and Maryvale.
These centers offer UPK families private wrap around care.
At EduKids, we design our programs with each individual child in mind.
EduKids has been selected by numerous school districts to provide your child with Universal Pre-K learning.
Our program is coordinated by each respective school district and our accreditation standards.
9:00 – 9:30: Morning class greeting with beginning play and center based activities, which include dress-up, blocks & construction, puzzles, reading and writing centers and computer station
9:30 – 10:00: Formal teacher led circle time activities, which include theme development, literacy experiences, skill reviews and story time
10:00 – 10:30: Music and movement activity / Health focus and exercise
10:30 – 11:30: Programs and games; exploring science, thinking about patterns and developing cooperative play skills. Teacher led small group activities are designed with Kindergarten readiness in mind. Children participate in cooperative cognitive experiences, fine motor and language skill activities, technology stations, Spanish and a music enrichment curriculum.
Our morning UPK sessions end at 11:30 A.M.
**Our afternoon UPK sessions follow the same schedule as above during the hours of 12:30 – 3:00.
