even her mom cried when she came home from work the other day.”
Begins this story of a child named Joy, her older brother and their mom who is an essential worker in the COVID 19 pandemic. It is a story of a home, a family and the incredible resilience of children.
A wonderful book to read with your children and find some “Joy” in this story of a family. Click HERE to read!
Dr. Nanci Monaco is a colleague and friend at SUNYC Buffalo. She is an esteemed member of the Resilience Project and works tirelessly with students, faculty and community in support of these trying and changing times. Kate Dust
