EduKids Hits Record Numbers for #ReadfortheRecord

Read for the Record®  is a national campaign that was launched over a decade ago to address the educational inequities that leave too many children unprepared for kindergarten.  EduKids is proud to participate in this initiative by Jumpstart every year.  This year the nationwide event was held on Thursday, October 27th.  This year’s campaign book was The Bear Ate Your Sandwich by Julia Sarcone-Roach.

EduKids is pleased to announce we hit an all-time high of reading to 3,487 children!  We welcomed various guest readers including family members, parents and school-agers!  Images can be seen from the event on our Facebook page.
