EduKids Founder and President Nancy Ware was recently honored by the Twentieth Century Club of Buffalo Preservation Foundation, Ltd.  On Saturday, September 10th, Mrs. Ware received the Charlotte Mulligan Award for Outstanding Achievement in Community Leadership.

The award was presented at the organization’s Third Annual White Glove Gala on Saturday, September 10, 2016.  The mission of the Twentieth Century Club of Buffalo Preservation Foundation is to  preserve and protect the historically significant architecture of this E.B. Green and Wicks-Design Italian Renaissance style building.  It’s supported through the generous donations of Club members, community individuals, private foundations, organizations and businesses.

Each year the Charlotte Mulligan Award for Outstanding Achievement in Community Leadership is presented to a woman who exceeds expectations when it comes to community volunteerism and partnerships.  Over the past 27 years, EduKids has always reached out to support the community.  We have a long-standing relationship with Explore and More, and are proud to continue our support through the new Children’s Museum that’s opening in the next year or so at Canalside.  We’ve supported the Theatre of Youth productions, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and March of Dimes through casual days, and so much more.  Mrs. Ware currently is Chairman of Entrepreneurs on Campus at Canisius College, on the Board of Directors at the Buffalo Zoo, and on the Boards of Trustees at Canisius College and WNED-TV/WBFO.

We’d like to extend our Congratulations to Mrs. Ware on receiving this award from the Twentieth Century Club of Buffalo!  Very well-deserved!
