School Age
|
(Kindergarten - 11 years) Before and after school care is provided through a combination of structured and informal activities. Arts and crafts, library, board games and a homework corner contribute to inside organization of space and materials. Many outside play opportunities for team sport; coordination and natural relaxation acknowledge children's need to unwind after a busy school day. Engaging children in long-term as well as short goal projects in cooking, woodwork, holiday celebrations and music/dance further this group's ability to productively start and extend their formal school day.
